Saudi Arabia’s National Center for Meteorology issued a weather alert on Saturday for light rain affecting the Holy Capital, Al Jumum Governorate, Rahat and Madrakah, with associated active winds, reduced horizontal visibility and thunderstorms, with the weather condition expected to continue until 9 PM.

In Jazan Region, the center warned of moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by very strong winds, near-zero horizontal visibility, hail, flash floods and thunderstorms, with the alert covering Jazan City and several governorates and areas across the region.

The affected locations in Jazan include Al Harath, Al Dayer Bani Malik, Al Rayth, Al Aridah, Al Aidabi, Fayfa, Harub, Al Tuwal, Samtah, Ahad Al Masarihah, Abu Arish, Dhamad, Sabya, Al Darb and Baysh, as well as Al Fatiha Center and Farasan Island, with the condition continuing until 9 PM.

In Tabuk Region, the National Center for Meteorology warned of active winds affecting Umluj, Al Wajh, Duba, Haql, Al Bad, and NEOM Sharma, with associated impacts including reduced horizontal visibility and higher wave activity, while wind speeds are expected to reach between 40 and 49 kilometers per hour.

The weather conditions are expected to continue in the areas covered by the alerts according to the times specified by the National Center for Meteorology, with attention advised to reduced visibility, thunderstorms, flash floods, high waves and strong winds, particularly in areas experiencing moderate to heavy rainfall.
