A fire broke out Tuesday evening, September 8, 2026, inside a building in the Al Dana area of the United Arab Emirates, on Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Street, prompting an immediate response from Abu Dhabi Police and the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority.

The emergency teams successfully brought the fire under control and carried out the necessary measures to secure the location and prevent any further risks following the incident. 

Abu Dhabi Police confirmed that no injuries were reported, while specialist teams remain at the scene to complete the required safety procedures and ensure that conditions have returned to normal. 

Cooling operations and smoke removal are currently underway inside the affected building as part of the precautionary measures being taken after the fire was contained. 

Abu Dhabi Police urged the public to obtain information about the incident exclusively from official sources and avoid sharing unverified reports or details across social media platforms.
