Kuwait’s Criminal Security Sector, represented by the Jahra Investigations Department, successfully carried out a decisive security operation that led to the arrest of an organized gang specializing in home and branch burglaries, highlighting the country’s strong and proactive law enforcement capabilities against coordinated criminal activities.

The case began when authorities received a report regarding a burglary targeting a branch of Al-Sulaibiya Cooperative Society, where an unknown suspect entered the premises while masked to conceal his identity, deliberately breaking the glass door to gain access and steal cash while attempting to evade surveillance cameras.

Security teams immediately launched intensive investigations, relying on advanced technical analysis and surveillance footage tracking, which enabled them to identify the suspects and locate them within a short timeframe, demonstrating the efficiency and speed of modern policing tools in Kuwait.

When confronted with the evidence collected during the investigation, the suspects confessed to committing the crime and further cooperated with authorities by revealing key details, including the location of the face covering used during the burglary, which was later recovered from the rooftop of a house in Al-Sulaibiya area.

Further investigations uncovered the gang’s involvement in five additional theft cases carried out using the same criminal method, confirming the existence of a structured network executing repeated operations, while legal procedures are currently being finalized to refer the suspects to the competent authorities for prosecution and appropriate penalties.
