Saudi Arabia’s National Center of Meteorology has issued a weather alert for the Al Baha region, warning of unstable conditions including rainfall accompanied by strong winds, reduced horizontal visibility, and possible thunderstorms across several areas.

The alert covers Al Baha city along with multiple governorates including Baljurashi, Al Aqiq, Al Qura, Bani Hassan, Al Mandaq, Al Makhwah, Qilwah, Al Hajrah, and Ghamid Al Zinad, as well as nearby areas, indicating a wide geographical impact of the weather system.

According to the center, these weather conditions are expected to continue until 8:00 PM, with authorities urging residents and travelers to remain cautious, particularly when driving due to reduced visibility and sudden weather changes.

In a related development, a separate alert was issued for the Najran region, forecasting light to moderate rainfall accompanied by active winds, low visibility, and a chance of thunderstorm activity across different parts of the region.

The warning includes Najran city and the governorates of Badr Al Janoub, Hubuna, Thar, Yadamah, and Khubash, with the situation expected to persist until 9:00 PM, as monitoring efforts continue to track developments and ensure public safety.
