The General Directorate of Passports in Saudi Arabia announced that it issued 25,310 administrative decisions during the month of Muharram 1448 AH through its regional passport departments’ administrative committees against citizens and residents who violated residency, labor, and border security regulations.

The authority clarified that these decisions come as part of its ongoing efforts to enforce regulations and maintain compliance across the Kingdom, emphasizing that penalties varied depending on the nature of each violation and included imprisonment, financial fines, and deportation.

Jawazat stressed the importance of full compliance by all citizens and residents, particularly business owners, warning against transporting, employing, or sheltering violators of residency, labor, and border security laws under any circumstances.

It also highlighted that providing any form of assistance to violators, including offering jobs, housing, or transportation, constitutes a direct violation of the law and exposes those involved to strict legal consequences under Saudi regulations.

The directorate called for public cooperation in reporting violations by contacting 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 in the rest of the Kingdom, assuring that all reports will be handled with complete confidentiality and without any liability on the reporter.
