Kuwait’s Meteorological Department expects hot, partly cloudy and humid conditions over coastal areas on Friday, October 2, 2026, with a chance of scattered light rain and winds strengthening at times as a low-pressure system influences weather conditions across the country.

During the daytime, winds are forecast to blow from the south to southeast at light to moderate speeds, freshening at times to between 10 and 40 kilometers per hour. The expected maximum temperature is around 41 degrees Celsius.

Conditions are expected to become rather hot to mild during the night, with partly cloudy skies and higher humidity particularly in coastal areas. Scattered rain remains possible, while fog could develop over some areas. The expected minimum temperature is around 28 degrees Celsius.

Sea conditions are forecast to remain slight to moderate during the day, with waves ranging from one to four feet. At night, waves could become higher at times and reach between two and six feet, according to Kuwait’s Meteorological Department.

The outlook indicates continued unsettled weather over the weekend. Saturday is forecast to be hot, humid and partly cloudy with a chance of scattered rain that could become thundery at times, while thunderstorm chances are also expected to continue on Sunday before conditions become relatively more stable early next week.
