Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation has launched its operational plan for the current Hajj season, announcing 63 scheduled flights to transport approximately 8,400 pilgrims and staff to Saudi Arabia through Terminal 4 at Kuwait International Airport, reflecting a high level of preparedness and organization.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation confirmed that outbound flights began on Wednesday and will continue until May 23, following a structured schedule designed to ensure smooth travel flow and efficient departure procedures for all pilgrims.

Sheikh Engineer Hamoud Al Mubarak, President of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, stated that return flights from the holy sites will operate on May 30 and May 31, based on a comprehensive operational plan coordinated with Kuwaiti Hajj campaigns, Saudi authorities, and airlines.

He added that the Directorate General of Civil Aviation has completed all operational and security preparations in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, the General Administration of Customs, airlines, and ground service providers to ensure seamless pilgrimage operations.

The authority urged pilgrims to follow all travel instructions, including arriving three hours before departure, carrying only one cabin bag, and complying with airline regulations, wishing them a safe spiritual journey and a smooth return after completing Hajj.
