Dubai, UAE: Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, reviewed the performance of the General Department of Logistics Support, which implemented 88 construction projects over the past five years. Of these, 65 projects have been completed, while work continues on 23 others as part of efforts to strengthen police infrastructure and enhance operational support services.

The review took place during an inspection visit under Dubai Police’s annual inspection programme for general departments and police stations. The department also maintained a 99% planning efficiency score in resource and asset management throughout 2024 and 2025.

Al Marri stressed that advancing logistics support and accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence across operational processes are key priorities for enhancing institutional readiness and sustaining excellence in line with Dubai Government’s vision for smarter public services.

During the visit, officials showcased several strategic initiatives, including the Police Buildings Rehabilitation Project, which aims to modernise police facilities, improve asset efficiency, and create an enhanced working environment that supports policing operations.

The Commander-in-Chief also reviewed future plans focused on integrating smart technologies into facilities, asset, and service management to improve operational efficiency, accelerate procedures, and maximise resource utilisation.

The department posted strong performance indicators, including 93.8% supplier satisfaction, 99.3% employee satisfaction, and 99.9% satisfaction with catering services. Employee satisfaction with the Esaad benefits card reached 91.5%, while satisfaction among Officers Club members stood at 97.7%.

In innovation and excellence, the department earned three local and international awards and produced nine approved intellectual publications that support institutional knowledge. Key achievements included winning the UK's Green Apple Award for the Zero Carbon Police Force project, two awards under Dubai’s Demand Side Management Programme for energy projects, and obtaining Dubai Municipality’s Gold Category (A) food safety rating.

Concluding the visit, Al Marri praised the department’s achievements and reaffirmed the importance of further strengthening logistics capabilities and expanding the use of AI to improve operational efficiency, institutional readiness, and sustainability while supporting Dubai Police’s strategic objectives.
