flydubai has officially launched its daily direct flights to Aleppo International Airport, marking the airline’s second destination in Syria alongside Damascus and reinforcing its regional expansion strategy.

The inaugural flight FZ 1191 departed from Dubai International Airport on July 20, representing a significant milestone in the carrier’s network growth while strengthening air connectivity between the UAE and Syria and offering flexible travel options for business, tourism, and family visits.

This new route provides added convenience for Syrian expatriates living in the UAE and across the GCC, especially during the peak summer travel season, significantly reducing travel time compared to indirect routes and complementing the airline’s existing three daily flights to Damascus.

Aleppo becomes the latest addition to flydubai’s expanding global network following the launch of routes to Bangkok and Benghazi, with Pokhara in Nepal set to join the network starting September 23, 2026, highlighting the airline’s continued international growth.

Daily flights to Aleppo International Airport operate from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport under a codeshare agreement with Emirates, offering seamless travel experiences including single-ticket booking and baggage connectivity, with Business Class fares starting from AED 8,000 and Economy Class from AED 1,800, while return fares from Aleppo start at USD 2,000 for Business and USD 470 for Economy.
