Seventy-five employees from several Abu Dhabi government entities have taken the legal oath before the Attorney General of the Emirate, Ali Mohammed Al Baloushi, officially beginning their duties as judicial enforcement officers.

The newly appointed officers will be responsible for inspection, oversight, and law enforcement related to crimes and violations that fall within their respective areas of jurisdiction, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

During the swearing-in ceremony, the Attorney General stressed the importance of maintaining the highest standards of transparency, impartiality, and legal compliance while carrying out their responsibilities. He noted that the role of judicial enforcement officers extends beyond identifying violations to promoting legal awareness and encouraging compliance among individuals and businesses.

The initiative forms part of the Public Prosecution’s strategic partnership with government entities to strengthen Abu Dhabi’s inspection and regulatory system. It also aims to enhance institutional efficiency by qualifying and empowering national talent to perform oversight duties in line with international best practices, ensuring effective law enforcement, protecting rights, and safeguarding the public interest.

The new judicial enforcement officers include employees from the Department of Municipalities and Transport, the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority, and TAQA.
