Coordinated Iranian Missile and Drone Attacks on Bahrain Intercepted as Authorities Issue Safety Warnings.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced it had carried out coordinated missile and drone strikes targeting what it described as US military assets in Bahrain, marking a significant escalation in regional tensions.

According to the statement, the attacks targeted specific facilities, including hangars used for the maintenance and storage of US-operated drones at Sakhir Air Base, indicating a focus on strategic military infrastructure.

The IRGC also claimed to have struck facilities at Salman Port, allegedly linked to US naval operations and Task Force 59, a unit associated with advanced maritime and unmanned systems, highlighting the precision of the declared targets.

In response, the Bahrain Defence Force confirmed that it successfully intercepted and destroyed multiple incoming aerial threats, emphasizing the effectiveness of its air defense systems and the high readiness level of all military units.

Meanwhile, Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior urged citizens and residents to remain calm, follow official guidance, and move to the nearest safe location when sirens sound, as part of precautionary measures aimed at ensuring public safety.
