The Kingdom of Bahrain announced on Tuesday that its air defense systems successfully intercepted Iranian aerial attacks targeting the country’s airspace, marking a significant escalation in regional security tensions.

In an official statement, the Bahrain Defence Force described the attacks as part of a systematic and hostile approach by Iran, emphasizing that the strikes were aimed at undermining civilian safety within the kingdom.

The statement confirmed that air defense units effectively intercepted and destroyed multiple hostile aerial threats with high operational efficiency, preventing major on-ground impact and demonstrating advanced defense capabilities.

The Bahrain Defence Force further stressed that all military units are operating at the highest level of readiness, maintaining full defensive preparedness to safeguard national sovereignty and ensure the protection of residents and citizens.

The Bahraini Ministry of Interior had earlier announced the sounding of sirens for the third time since dawn today, after monitoring air movements and attacks, in a precautionary measure aimed at alerting the population of citizens and residents and strengthening public safety procedures.
