Bahrain’s General Directorate of Civil Defence carried out a precautionary evacuation of a residential building in the Al Busaiteen area after a fire broke out inside one of its units, acting swiftly to ensure public safety.
Authorities confirmed that firefighting teams responded immediately upon receiving the report, securing the site and initiating an organized evacuation process to protect residents from any potential risk.
Eyewitnesses reported that the fire originated on the ground floor of the building, specifically inside an office, where flames and smoke were seen rising before emergency teams arrived at the scene.
Some witnesses suggested that the incident may have been caused by an air conditioning unit, noting that prolonged operation could have led to an electrical fault that triggered the fire, though this has not been officially confirmed.
The Bahraini Ministry of Interior stated that Civil Defence teams successfully contained the fire and prevented it from spreading to other parts of the building, while relevant authorities continue their investigation to determine the exact cause and take appropriate action based on the findings.
