Kuwait’s Meteorological Department has forecast rising humidity and possible fog formation over the coming days, with relatively hot daytime conditions and milder nights expected across the country. The outlook is particularly relevant to motorists and residents travelling during evening and nighttime hours.
According to the official forecast for Tuesday, October 20, conditions will remain rather hot and relatively humid along coastal areas, with partly cloudy skies and a chance of light fog developing in some locations during the night.
On Wednesday, October 21, temperatures are expected to reach 37 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 22 degrees. Relative humidity could climb to 90 percent, while light fog may develop during the evening, particularly in areas affected by higher moisture levels.
Thursday, October 22, is forecast to bring continued hot and humid conditions, especially near the coast, with partly cloudy skies, a possibility of drizzle, and a chance of fog during the evening. Temperatures are expected to range between 22 and 37 degrees Celsius.
Wind speeds on Wednesday and Thursday are forecast at approximately 8 to 30 kilometres per hour, with variable to southeasterly winds. Humidity levels and fog development may differ between locations, making local weather updates especially important.
The forecast does not automatically indicate a severe visibility warning or widespread traffic disruption. Motorists should exercise caution if fog develops, maintain safe following distances, reduce speed when necessary, and follow official weather bulletins for any further changes.
