Emirates and flydubai have announced a new promotional offer for members of the Emirates Skywards loyalty programme, allowing eligible international travellers to earn additional reward Miles based on the duration of their stay in Dubai. The initiative aims to encourage tourism and attract more visitors during the emirate’s autumn and winter season, offering qualifying passengers the opportunity to collect up to 7,200 bonus Skywards Miles.

The promotion, called the Mile-A-Minute offer, allows eligible members to earn one additional Skywards Mile for every minute spent in Dubai. The duration is calculated using the scheduled arrival and departure times shown on the passenger’s ticket. The offer applies to qualifying visits and stopovers, provided travellers meet the minimum and maximum stay requirements and comply with the published promotional conditions.

According to the official announcement, the registration and booking period runs from October 21 to November 5, 2026, while eligible travel must begin and end between October 21 and December 13, 2026. Travellers must register for the promotion and complete their eligible ticket bookings and issuance by 11:59pm Dubai time on November 5. Journeys must also be completed within the specified travel period.

To qualify, travellers must be existing Emirates Skywards members or newly enrolled members who join before the registration deadline. Participants must purchase an eligible return ticket on Emirates or flydubai, with their journey originating outside the United Arab Emirates. Their stay in Dubai must last at least 24 hours and no longer than 30 days. Tickets must also qualify for normal Skywards Miles accrual under the programme rules.

Eligible members will earn one bonus Skywards Mile for every qualifying minute of their stay, subject to a maximum reward of 7,200 Miles. This maximum is reached after five days in Dubai, meaning longer stays will not generate additional promotional Miles beyond the stated limit. The bonus is awarded in addition to the standard Miles earned from qualifying flights and is credited only once per member for their first eligible stay. Rewards will be deposited within 30 days after the visit is completed.

Importantly, the official conditions exclude UAE residents, based on the residency information recorded in their Emirates Skywards membership profiles. One-way tickets, tickets issued in the UAE and journeys originating within the country are also excluded. Certain codeshare and interline flights are ineligible. Qualifying Emirates fares include Special, Saver, Flex and Flex Plus, while eligible flydubai fares include Economy Lite, Value and Flex, as well as Business Class.

Travellers can register through the airlines’ official websites, mobile applications and authorised service channels. Eligible tickets may also be purchased through travel agents, provided all promotional requirements are satisfied. Visitors can additionally explore selected shopping, dining, entertainment and wellness discounts offered by participating Dubai partners, subject to separate conditions. Passengers are advised to review the full terms and retain their boarding passes when accessing applicable partner benefits.
