Prince William and Prince George were reported to have travelled to Barcelona for an Aston Villa match.
A video said to show William, 44, and George, 13, aboard the flight was shared on X. The footage has not been independently verified.

The pair attended the rainy November 3 match in casual jackets rather than their usual formal clothing. Aston Villa, the team supported by William, lost to FC Barcelona. During the game, George was reported to have rested his head on his father’s shoulder.

The commercial journey would not be unprecedented for the family. William flew commercially to Washington, D.C., in 2014, while Catherine, Princess of Wales, travelled on British Airways in 2016. The Prince and Princess of Wales also took a commercial flight to Boston in 2022.
The Barcelona outing came after George started at Eton in September, following in his father’s footsteps. He had previously returned home during a short leave in early October; the school’s first long leave of the academic year began on October 23 and was due to run until November 8.
William and George have attended Aston Villa matches together before. William became an Aston Villa supporter while he was at school.
