Renk reported higher nine-month profit and a record €7.6 billion order backlog.
The company said order intake increased by one-third to €1.66 billion ($1.87 billion). The rise took Renk’s order backlog to a record €7.6 billion, indicating a substantial volume of orders still to be fulfilled.
Revenue for the nine-month period rose 5.8% to €982 million. Adjusted operating profit grew at a faster rate, increasing 12.7% to €158.8 million.
The results underline the differing performance across Renk’s businesses: defence demand continued to support growth, while the industrial segment faced weaker conditions.
The figures were reported on Thursday, Nov. 5. The exchange rate cited in the report was $1 to €0.8880.
