Air Arabia has announced the launch of direct flights between Sharjah and the Syrian city of Aleppo, with operations set to begin on July 4, 2026, as part of its ongoing expansion in Syria.
The airline stated that the new service will operate daily, providing travelers with greater flexibility and more travel options while benefiting from Air Arabia’s affordable and convenient air travel services. The Sharjah–Aleppo route is part of the carrier’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the Syrian market. Air Arabia currently operates 21 weekly flights between Sharjah and Damascus, in addition to three weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Damascus.
