The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior continues to implement a comprehensive security campaign in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area as part of a coordinated field strategy aimed at enforcing law and order, addressing violations, and restoring stability through joint efforts with multiple government entities.

This campaign follows earlier phases that resulted in the evacuation of illegal housing units and the arrest of large numbers of individuals wanted for security reasons, as well as violators of residency and labor laws, reflecting a firm commitment to enforcing regulations and improving living conditions.

According to the General Department of Security Relations and Media, the campaign is being carried out under the directives of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef and led on the ground by Undersecretary Lieutenant General Abdulwahab Ahmed Al-Wuhaib, resulting in the arrest of 1,253 individuals, in addition to 36 children found in unlawful circumstances with their mothers, with all necessary legal measures taken.

Authorities emphasized that the operation extends beyond security enforcement and includes strong coordination with service authorities, including the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, which reduced power loads in Farwaniya Governorate by 60 percent after disconnecting electricity from 1,200 violating residences, alongside additional regulatory actions by other government bodies.

Municipality efforts also played a significant role, issuing 777 violation reports, removing 27 abandoned vehicles, placing warning notices on 64 others, and carrying out extensive cleaning operations across key streets, while confirming that inspection campaigns will continue to prevent the recurrence of violations and enhance overall quality of life.
