Emirates has confirmed that its codeshare operations with flydubai on services to and from Tel Aviv remain suspended with immediate effect and until further notice, according to the latest travel update published on the airline’s official website.

The most recent notice was updated at 8:31 p.m. Dubai time on October 5, 2026, confirming that the suspension continues to apply to bookings and services operated under the Emirates-flydubai codeshare arrangement on the Tel Aviv route.

A codeshare arrangement allows a flight operated by one airline to also be sold under the flight code of another airline. In this case, a service may be physically operated by flydubai while also being marketed or booked under an Emirates flight number, making the distinction important for affected passengers.

Emirates said customers impacted by the suspension will be provided with all possible support to help them complete their journeys and advised affected travellers to contact their travel agent or the Emirates contact centre for the latest available information.

The airline also urged passengers to make sure the contact information attached to their booking is accurate by using the Manage Your Booking service, allowing them to receive any further notifications or changes related to their travel plans.

The advisory is particularly relevant to passengers holding Emirates-issued itineraries that include a sector operated by flydubai to or from Tel Aviv, as disruption to that sector could affect a wider connecting journey even when other parts of the itinerary remain scheduled.

Emirates has not announced a date for the resumption of the affected codeshare operations. The airline currently states that the suspension will remain in place until further notice, meaning travellers should continue checking official updates before departure.

Passengers with existing bookings are advised to verify their latest flight status before travelling to the airport and to contact Emirates or their booking agent if their itinerary includes a codeshare sector that may be affected by the suspension.
