Dubai International Airport recorded several flight cancellations on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, affecting services to multiple destinations in Saudi Arabia as airlines continued adjusting their regional flight schedules.

According to flight status information reported by Gulf News, several flydubai services were cancelled, including departures to Dammam, Abha, Ha’il and Riyadh, along with corresponding return flights to Dubai.

The affected Dammam services included FZ869, FZ863, FZ867 and FZ883, while flight FZ811 to Abha and flight FZ821 to Ha’il were also listed as cancelled. Riyadh-bound flights FZ847, FZ841 and FZ855 were among the additional affected services.

Return flights were also impacted, including FZ870, FZ864, FZ868 and FZ884 from Dammam, FZ812 from Abha and FZ822 from Ha’il, alongside several services departing from Riyadh.

The reported cancellations do not indicate a complete suspension of operations at Dubai International Airport or the cancellation of every service between the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Other flights remain scheduled, although operational arrangements may change.

Passengers are advised to check their flight status directly through their airline’s official website, monitor booking notifications and confirm departure details before travelling to the airport. Individual flight cancellations should not be interpreted as a general airport closure.
