The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned attacks by the Houthi Group on Abha International Airport and King Khalid International Airport in Saudi Arabia, which killed three people and injured dozens of civilians.

According to the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, those killed were Moroccan, Algerian and Sudanese nationals. The ministry said it also extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to the victims’ families, while wishing those injured a speedy recovery.

In its statement, the ministry described the attacks as a blatant violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and said they threatened the kingdom’s security and stability.

The UAE reiterated its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and said it supports all measures intended to protect the country’s security and stability.
