The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned attacks by the Houthi group targeting King Khalid International Airport and a Saudia aircraft in Saudi Arabia. The attacks killed three Saudi nationals and injured a number of civilians.

In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the incidents represented a blatant breach of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and posed a threat to the kingdom’s security and stability.

The ministry reiterated the UAE’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and said it supported all measures intended to protect the kingdom’s security and stability.

The UAE also extended condolences and sympathy to the families of those killed, as well as to Saudi Arabia and its people. It wished those injured a speedy recovery.
