The official spokesperson for Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Abdulaziz Al-Attwan, confirmed that the armed forces are actively responding to hostile attacks resulting from what he described as Iranian aggression, with ongoing interception and countermeasure operations underway.
He stated that air defense systems are operating with high efficiency, detecting and tracking incoming aerial threats and intercepting them before they pose any direct danger to national security or public safety.
In an official statement published on the platform X, the Ministry of Defense urged both citizens and residents to strictly follow safety guidelines and avoid approaching any debris resulting from missiles or unmanned aerial vehicles.
The ministry also warned against touching or photographing any remnants or fragments resulting from interception operations, due to potential safety and security risks, and stressed the importance of not sharing or circulating images or videos of impacted locations.
Authorities emphasized the importance of immediately reporting any suspicious objects or debris to the relevant authorities, as part of efforts to maintain public safety and support ongoing security operations.
