Kuwait’s Ministry of Communications has activated six new electronic services for its employees through the government’s unified Sahel application, expanding access to official employment documents and information without requiring staff to visit administrative offices in person.
The newly available services include an employment progression certificate and a To Whom It May Concern certificate, both of which are commonly required for administrative, financial and official procedures.
Employees can also access detailed salary information through the application, allowing them to review important financial data directly through an official government platform.
Another newly activated service provides information on the employee’s professional and financial status, while a separate service allows access to the sequence of financial grades associated with the employee’s career record.
The Ministry of Communications has also added a salary transfer continuity service, giving employees an electronic way to obtain official confirmation related to the continued transfer of their salaries when such documentation is required.
The services were introduced in cooperation with Kuwait’s Civil Service Commission as part of broader efforts to expand digital government services and reduce reliance on paper-based procedures and in-person visits.
By adding these services to Sahel, the authorities aim to save employees time and simplify access to employment-related documents through a single government application that already provides a wide range of public services.
The latest additions reflect Kuwait’s continued push toward digital government, with more ministries and public entities gradually moving frequently requested services to Sahel to make official transactions faster and more convenient for users.
