Saudi Arabia has expanded its tourist visa programme to include citizens of Kosovo and Guyana, allowing travellers from both countries to obtain a tourist visa electronically or upon arrival at one of the Kingdom’s entry points, subject to the applicable regulations and eligibility requirements.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the expansion on October 5, 2026, confirming that nationals of Kosovo and Guyana have been added to the list of travellers eligible to benefit from Saudi Arabia’s tourist visa system.

The visa can be used for a range of permitted travel purposes beyond conventional tourism. Eligible visitors may use it to attend events, exhibitions and conferences, visit relatives and friends, and perform Umrah outside the Hajj season in accordance with the relevant Saudi regulations.

Saudi Arabia’s official electronic visa portal now lists both Kosovo and Guyana among the countries whose citizens are entitled to apply for an eVisa, confirming that the latest expansion has been incorporated into the official visa system.

Applicants must hold a valid passport issued by an eligible country. According to the official visa terms, the passport must have at least six months of validity remaining from the intended date of entry into Saudi Arabia, in addition to meeting the other requirements of the visa application process.

The move forms part of Saudi Arabia’s broader effort to make travel to the Kingdom easier for international visitors while supporting growth in tourism, major events, exhibitions, conferences and other visitor-focused sectors.

For citizens of Kosovo and Guyana, the change provides more flexible options when planning a trip to Saudi Arabia, with the ability to apply online before travelling or obtain a visa on arrival when the required conditions are met.

Travellers are advised to check the official Saudi eVisa portal before departure for the latest entry conditions, passport requirements and any additional procedures that may apply to their trip, particularly as visa regulations can be updated over time.
