Kuwait is witnessing rapid field developments amid reports of renewed hostile Iranian strikes targeting critical locations across the country, as Kuwait Petroleum Corporation announced on Saturday significant material losses along with several injuries following repeated attacks on a vital oil sector facility.
According to an official statement carried by Kuwait News Agency, authorities immediately initiated response operations in close coordination with relevant state entities, confirming that emergency teams rushed to provide medical assistance to the injured while carrying out a full evacuation of the affected site to ensure safety.
In a related development, the Kuwait Fire Force confirmed that its teams dealt with two separate fires that broke out at different locations across the country after both sites were targeted in the recent attacks, which were described as hostile actions against national facilities.
The force explained that firefighting operations involved a large-scale response, with five firefighting teams supported by specialized oil sector units deployed to the first site, while three additional teams were assigned to contain the second fire, reflecting a high level of preparedness and rapid intervention.
It added that the first incident resulted in injuries among several firefighters as well as one worker during containment efforts, noting that all injured individuals were evacuated promptly and transferred for medical treatment, with authorities pledging to provide further updates as the situation evolves.
