Khaled Al Nuaimi, Director of the Federal Youth Authority, affirmed that building a comprehensive national system for developing future skills is a key pillar in preparing UAE youth to adapt to global transformations and contribute effectively to sustainable development.

Marking World Youth Skills Day, Al Nuaimi said that investing in youth skills has become a strategic necessity as economies and labor markets continue to evolve rapidly. He stressed that future skills extend beyond technical expertise to include critical thinking, adaptability, innovation, collaboration, and lifelong learning.

He added that the Federal Youth Authority, in cooperation with partners across various sectors, continues to develop initiatives that promote lifelong learning and encourage the responsible use of emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, in line with the UAE Youth Agenda 2031.

According to Al Nuaimi, these initiatives aim to equip young people with the knowledge and experience needed to create innovative solutions, seize new opportunities, and strengthen the UAE's global competitiveness by developing highly capable national talent.
