Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will introduce four new public bus routes and implement service changes across several existing routes starting July 17, as part of its ongoing efforts to improve the emirate's public transport network.
The authority said the updates are based on regular reviews of passenger demand and travel patterns, with the aim of enhancing connectivity between residential, commercial and service areas while strengthening integration with Dubai Metro and feeder bus services.
The new services include Route 35 linking International City with Dubai Silicon Oasis, Route 85 connecting Al Quoz (Al Khail Gate) to Dubai Internet City Metro Station, and the new Routes 37A and 37B operating between International City and Dubai Silicon Oasis Lake in both directions. Peak-hour frequencies will range from 20 to 30 minutes.
RTA will also revise the routes of several existing bus services, including Routes 27, 36A, 36B, 67, 84, 88, 96 and X94, to improve metro connectivity, reduce travel times and provide more efficient access to key destinations.
Additional changes will affect feeder bus routes F06, F29, F36, F47 and F49, expanding service coverage to residential communities and offering passengers more convenient transport options.
The authority will also adjust Routes C01 and X22 during peak hours to improve operational efficiency and shorten journey times, while providing alternative services for affected passengers.
According to RTA, the latest enhancements are part of its broader strategy to deliver a more efficient, integrated and sustainable public transport system for both residents and visitors across Dubai.
