The UAE is expected to experience mainly fair weather on Sunday, October 5, with periods of partly cloudy skies and afternoon cloud formation over eastern parts of the country, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said.

Daytime temperatures are forecast to climb to 38°C in Abu Dhabi. Dubai and Sharjah are both expected to record highs of 37°C.

Conditions are set to become more humid during the night and into Monday morning in some coastal and inland areas. The NCM said fog or mist may develop during the early morning hours.

Overnight temperatures

Temperatures will fall after dark, reaching about 29°C in Abu Dhabi and 30°C in Dubai. Sharjah is forecast to record the lowest overnight temperature among the three cities, at around 28°C.

Winds will blow from the southeast to northeast at light to moderate speeds, occasionally becoming fresh. Wind speeds are expected to range from 10 to 20 km/h, with gusts reaching up to 35 km/h.

Marine conditions will be slight to moderate in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
