United Arab Emirates

The UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology has forecast a chance of rain in parts of the country between October 11 and October 14, with convective clouds expected on several afternoons. The outlook also includes humid nighttime conditions, possible mist or fog in some areas, and periods of stronger winds that may raise dust.

Forecast for October 11

Clouds may develop into convective formations during the afternoon over eastern and southern parts of the UAE. Such cloud development indicates the possibility of rain, although it does not guarantee rainfall.

Humidity is expected to increase overnight, with mist and fog potentially forming in some coastal and inland areas. Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from southwesterly to northwesterly directions and reaching up to 30kmph.

Sea conditions are forecast to remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

October 12 outlook

Conditions are expected to be fair to partly cloudy on October 12. Convective clouds may form over inland areas during the afternoon, while nighttime weather is expected to become humid.

Winds may become fresh to strong at times, reaching speeds of up to 45kmph and causing blowing dust.

Chance of rain on October 13

Tuesday is forecast to be fair to partly cloudy, with a possibility of rainfall over eastern and western areas of the country. Humid conditions are expected at night, when mist and fog may also develop.

Winds will shift from southeasterly to northeasterly directions. The Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea are both expected to be slight.

October 14 forecast

Convective clouds are again expected to develop on Wednesday, bringing another possibility of rain. Overall conditions will be fair to partly cloudy.

Light to moderate winds may reach 40kmph and could result in blowing dust. Sea conditions are expected to be slight in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
