The Ministry of Education in the State of Kuwait is stepping up preparations for the 2026/2027 academic year, with intensive efforts to ensure schools and educational facilities are ready before students and staff return.
Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs Hamad Al-Hamad stressed the need to continue readiness operations across the education sector and activate the electronic “Balligh” system to monitor school requirements.
School administrations and affiliated departments have been instructed to report any readiness-related issues through the platform, allowing responsible authorities to receive requests promptly and accelerate the required response.
During the summer vacation, Kuwait’s readiness teams followed up on more than 13,000 reports through the “Balligh” system, covering civil and electrical maintenance, air-conditioning equipment, water coolers and school cleanliness.
