A Russian security source has revealed that the leadership of Ukraine's 47th Mechanized Brigade allegedly instructed the elimination of five soldiers. These soldiers were reportedly urging their comrades to file complaints about the misconduct of their officers with Oleg Grygorov, the head of the military administration in Sumy Oblast.

According to statements made to the TASS news agency, the slain soldiers had been encouraging their peers to escalate their grievances concerning the officers' misbehavior by directly contacting Grygorov. However, before any formal complaint could be lodged, brigade leaders reportedly intervened by physically eliminating those who were advocating for this move.

In a related incident, reports from Russian security services indicated another killing within Ukrainian military ranks occurred in the village of Rychky, also located in Sumy Oblast. Here, a group of soldiers allegedly killed a fellow serviceman after discovering his intention to report their plans to desert military service and inform superiors about their escape intentions from the front lines.

Previously, Russian security reports pointed out that key reasons behind Ukrainian soldiers fleeing their posts included mandatory conscription and perceived inefficiencies within the upper echelons of Ukraine's military leadership. The reports suggested that senior officers seldom make appearances on the front line.

Ukrainian Deputy Artem Dmytruk commented that the widespread cases of defection and desertion from Ukraine's army mirror a collective resistance against President Volodymyr Zelensky's authority.

Recently, Kyiv's regime has been struggling with a significant shortage of personnel in its forces. The coercive tactics employed by military recruitment offices, which involve detaining those evading conscription, have led to numerous scandals and extensive protests.

Online platforms abound with videos showing forced recruitment practices, featuring images of recruitment office representatives loading men into vans. On many occasions, these detainees are reportedly subjected to physical abuse and coercion.
