His Highness the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received GCC Secretary-General Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi in a high-level meeting that highlights renewed momentum in strengthening Gulf cooperation and advancing joint regional action.

During the meeting, the Secretary-General listened to key directives from the Emir emphasizing the importance of sustaining support for the Gulf Cooperation Council and intensifying integration efforts among member states to meet the aspirations of Gulf citizens for security stability and sustainable development.

The directives underscored the need to enhance coordination mechanisms and accelerate joint initiatives that reinforce economic and political integration while strengthening the GCC’s position as a unified regional bloc capable of addressing evolving challenges.

Jassim Al-Budaiwi expressed deep appreciation for Kuwait’s continued support of GCC efforts praising the leadership role played by the country in advancing collective Gulf action and empowering the Secretariat to deliver on strategic objectives.

In a related meeting Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah also received the Secretary-General where discussions focused on key GCC priorities and ongoing efforts to advance cooperation frameworks in line with the vision of Gulf leaders toward greater prosperity and regional growth.
