His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received today Speaker of the Council of Representatives Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Chairman of the Shura Council Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, along with members of the committee tasked with responding to the Royal Address, as they formally submitted the joint response of both councils to the Royal Speech delivered during the opening of the fourth session of the sixth legislative term, reflecting institutional coordination at the highest level.

During the meeting, His Majesty expressed deep appreciation for the dedication shown by the leadership and members of both councils in serving the nation and its citizens, praising the significant legislative achievements accomplished and emphasizing the importance of continuing efforts to support Bahrain’s comprehensive development agenda across all sectors.

The King also commended the strong alignment and ongoing cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities, noting that such coordination plays a crucial role in driving national progress and prosperity, while also recognizing the constructive proposals and initiatives included in the councils’ response as valuable contributions to enhancing governance and institutional performance.
