The Kingdom of Bahrain has issued a series of new government decisions for 2026 under the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, reflecting ongoing efforts to strengthen the administrative and legislative framework of the country.

These decisions include new judicial appointments as well as regulatory amendments to several official councils and authorities, aiming to enhance government efficiency and institutional performance.

Decision No. (37) of 2026 stipulates the full-time appointment of Judge Dr. Riyadh Mohammed Ibrahim Siyadi as Director of the Judicial and Legal Studies Institute at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, based on the minister’s recommendation.

The decision mandates the Minister of Justice to implement its provisions, with immediate effect from the date of issuance, and to ensure its publication in the Official Gazette in accordance with legal procedures.

In addition, other decisions were issued to amend the structure of key councils and committees, alongside an important regulation defining commercial activities restricted to Bahraini nationals, as part of broader efforts to support the national economy and regulate the labor market.
