Chelsea attacking midfielder Cole Palmer has agreed a contract extension that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2034, the Premier League club said on Saturday.
The 24-year-old England international joined Chelsea from Manchester City in 2023 and has since become an important member of the side. He has scored 91 goals in 138 appearances in all competitions for the club.
Palmer was also part of Chelsea squads that won the Club World Cup and the UEFA Conference League.
He said discussions with Chelsea's owners, sporting directors and manager convinced him that extending his stay was the right decision.
“Speaking to the owners, to the sporting directors and obviously the manager, they gave me a lot of confidence so it was only right to sign,” Palmer said.
“Speaking to players as well, everyone has the same ambitions. I feel like we win major trophies here consistently.”
Chelsea have continued to tie down first-team players and emerging talent on lengthy contracts. Forward Joao Pedro recently signed a deal running to 2034, while winger Pedro Neto agreed a six-year contract last month.
Chelsea are 10th in the Premier League table and host Bournemouth on Saturday.
