Travel companies and national carriers in the United Arab Emirates are rolling out discounted holiday packages as the peak summer travel season comes to an end. The offers combine flights, hotel stays and selected travel services, with starting prices below AED 1,700 per person.
Most packages cover three nights and include direct return flights. Many hotel options also provide complimentary breakfast. The majority of stays are in three- and four-star properties, while premium resorts are available for selected beach destinations.
Among the most affordable options, packages to Baku start at AED 1,700, while Tbilisi starts from AED 1,800. Prices for Yerevan begin at AED 2,000, followed by Bangkok at AED 2,100 and Colombo at AED 2,300 per traveler.
European destinations are also part of the September offers. Packages to Krakow start at AED 2,500, while holidays in Athens and Moscow are available from around AED 2,600. Packages to Belgrade start at approximately AED 3,400.
Beach destinations come at higher starting prices, with three-night packages to Mauritius starting from AED 4,500. Maldives holidays begin at around AED 5,000 per person, depending on availability and the selected travel dates.
The advertised prices are introductory fares and are subject to seat and hotel-room availability. Final prices may change according to travel dates, room categories, stay duration and individual booking conditions.
Some packages also allow travelers in the UAE to add airport transfers, room upgrades, sightseeing tours and entertainment activities for an additional fee. One airline is also offering complimentary seat selection on selected holiday packages through September 30.
Narouz Sarkis, general manager of Al Balooshi Travel, said post-peak offers could provide an attractive opportunity for travelers who postponed their summer holidays because of high-season prices and heavy demand.
He advised travelers to look beyond the headline price and carefully review baggage allowances, seat selection, meals, cancellation terms and amendment policies before confirming a booking.
Travel specialists also point out that promotional fares are often limited to a specific number of seats or hotel rooms. Once the lowest fare category sells out, customers may be moved to a higher pricing tier, with differences potentially reaching AED 200 to AED 300 or more.
Comparing different travel dates and booking early can help travelers secure lower fares. Avoiding weekends and other high-demand periods may also provide more competitive options.
With demand expected to shift following the summer peak, airlines and travel agencies in the United Arab Emirates are expected to introduce additional promotions covering September and potentially extending into mid-October.
