Jazeera Airways has officially announced the full resumption of its operations from Terminal 5 at Kuwait International Airport, starting Sunday, May 3, marking a significant milestone in its operational recovery after a 57-day suspension.

The airline confirmed that flights will operate daily from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, ensuring improved scheduling efficiency and offering passengers greater flexibility for direct travel from Kuwait.

This full-scale return follows a successful partial resumption phase launched last week, which served as a critical operational transition after the airline temporarily shifted its base to Saudi Arabia to maintain continuity.

With all operations now centralized again at Terminal 5, Jazeera Airways will run flights to 27 destinations across its network, effectively restoring Kuwait’s connectivity to major regional and international markets.

CEO Barathan Pasupathi described the move as a strategic achievement, emphasizing that returning to T5 enhances passenger experience and strengthens direct travel links across the airline’s network.

He also extended appreciation to Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation, the Ministry of Interior, and other government entities for their support in facilitating the smooth resumption of operations.

Passengers have been advised to arrive at the airline’s Park & Fly facility at least four hours before departure, from where they will be transported to Terminal 5 for check-in and boarding procedures.

During the airport closure, the airline launched the “Barakah Initiative,” operating a hybrid land-air corridor through Al Qaisumah and Dammam airports in Saudi Arabia.

Throughout this period, Jazeera Airways successfully operated over 1,500 flights, managed more than 9,000 bus transfers, and transported approximately 200,000 passengers.

The operation involved over 500 employees and 14 aircraft, demonstrating the airline’s resilience and operational agility in maintaining service continuity under challenging conditions.

Pasupathi highlighted that concluding temporary operations in Saudi Arabia marks a proud moment, thanking the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation and all partners for their strong collaboration.

He noted that returning to Terminal 5 allows passengers to once again benefit from advanced facilities and streamlined services designed to enhance comfort and efficiency.
