Emirates Airline has urged all passengers departing from Dubai during the Eid Al Adha holiday period to plan ahead and arrive at the airport significantly earlier than usual, as travel demand is expected to surge sharply, creating peak-time congestion across airport terminals and passenger processing areas.

The airline emphasized that travelers should reach Dubai International Airport at least three hours before departure, while ensuring they are present at boarding gates no later than 60 minutes prior to flight time, noting that security screening, passport control, and transit times within the airport may take longer than normal during high-traffic travel periods.

Emirates highlighted the importance of using public transportation options such as the Dubai Metro to avoid heavy road congestion around the airport, while also encouraging passengers to utilize digital services designed to streamline the travel process, including online check-in and mobile app access for seat selection and booking management.

The airline further explained that passengers can complete check-in and drop off baggage up to 24 hours before departure, or 12 hours in advance for flights to the United States, in addition to using self-service kiosks available throughout the airport to minimize queues and accelerate processing times.

Emirates also advised customers to update their contact details via the booking management system to receive real-time travel updates, including any schedule adjustments or gate changes, reaffirming its commitment to delivering a smooth, efficient, and reliable travel experience during one of the busiest holiday seasons of the year.
