The Bahrain Defence Force General Command announced that all its units and military assets have been placed on the highest level of readiness, confirming full defensive preparedness to respond to any potential threats amid escalating regional tensions, reflecting a state of maximum vigilance to safeguard national security and stability.
In an official statement carried by the Bahrain News Agency, the command revealed significant defensive achievements since the start of the Iranian attacks, successfully intercepting and destroying 194 missiles and 516 drones that were targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain, highlighting the efficiency and advanced capabilities of the country’s air defense systems.
The statement emphasized that these operations are part of continuous efforts to protect national sovereignty and counter cross-border threats, noting that strong coordination among military units has ensured rapid and effective responses, significantly reducing risks and limiting potential damage to critical infrastructure and residential areas.
In parallel, the General Command urged all citizens and residents to exercise extreme caution and avoid approaching or touching any suspicious or unfamiliar objects that may be remnants of the attacks, warning of the serious dangers such objects may pose to public safety, particularly in affected areas.
The command also confirmed that Royal Field Engineering units remain fully prepared to safely handle and dispose of hazardous remnants, stressing the importance of adhering to official guidelines and immediately reporting any suspicious items to ensure the safety and protection of everyone across the Kingdom.
