Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a strong condemnation of the terrorist attack targeting two northern land border posts in Kuwait, describing the incident as a serious escalation that threatens regional security and stability amid ongoing geopolitical tensions.

The ministry confirmed that the attack was carried out using two explosive-laden drones launched from Iraq, calling it a clear violation of international law and an unacceptable breach of Kuwait’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Bahrain reaffirmed its full solidarity with Kuwait, emphasizing its support for all measures taken to protect national security and maintain stability, reflecting a unified Gulf position in confronting shared security challenges.

The statement also urged Iraq to take immediate and decisive steps to hold those responsible accountable and to prevent the recurrence of such attacks, highlighting the importance of reducing tensions and reinforcing regional security frameworks.
