The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned and denounced the Iranian terrorist attacks targeting civilian sites and facilities in the United Arab Emirates using cruise missiles and drones, describing the escalation as a serious threat to regional security and stability.
The Ministry stated that these attacks constitute a clear violation of the principles of good neighborliness and international law, as well as a breach of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817 and a direct violation of the declared ceasefire, further intensifying tensions in the region.
Bahrain affirmed its full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates and its unwavering support for all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability, reflecting the deep-rooted fraternal ties between the leadership and peoples of both nations.
The Ministry also expressed its wishes for a speedy recovery for those injured in the attacks, reiterating Bahrain’s firm stance alongside the UAE in confronting such security challenges and emphasizing the importance of collective regional and international efforts.
Bahrain called on the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to take decisive and deterrent actions against these repeated and unjustified Iranian attacks, ensuring the protection of civilians and vital infrastructure, safeguarding global energy security, maintaining maritime safety, and strengthening regional and international peace and security.
