Bahrain’s Labour Market Regulatory Authority has upgraded its Authorized Person Permissions Update Service, giving employers a simpler digital method to define and update the permissions granted to authorized individuals handling transactions on behalf of their establishments.

The service enables employers to update permissions allowing authorized persons to enter data and submit applications, or to pay invoices and print work permits, with the option to grant both categories of permissions. The service can be completed within one working day.

The upgraded service has achieved a 100 percent digital transformation, allowing the procedure to be completed electronically. The number of required documents has also been reduced by 50 percent as part of efforts to simplify procedures and reduce the time and effort required from employers.

The development also includes improvements to the user interface and overall service experience, the adoption of electronic forms and the standardization of service information published across different channels, making the process clearer and easier to access.

The upgrade forms part of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority’s wider efforts to adopt innovative digital solutions and improve services for businesses, with the aim of increasing procedural efficiency and providing employers with a more streamlined way to manage permissions and establishment-related transactions.
