Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Passports has introduced three new electronic services during its participation in LEAP 2026, as part of efforts to make passport procedures faster and more convenient.

The services were launched at the Ministry of Interior’s pavilion in the presence of Acting Director General of Passports, Lieutenant General Dr. Saleh bin Saad Al-Murabba.

The new services allow Saudi citizens to request a replacement passport for a lost document, electronically check the status of a Saudi passport, and benefit from an express passport delivery service.

The new digital options are designed to reduce the time and effort required to complete passport-related procedures while improving access to government services.

The Directorate General of Passports confirmed that it will continue expanding its digital services and adopting technology-driven solutions to improve efficiency and deliver a better experience for beneficiaries across Saudi Arabia.
