The General Traffic Department of Kuwait has announced a temporary traffic closure on King Fahd Road near Jabriya, affecting drivers heading toward Kuwait City and prompting motorists to plan their routes carefully during the closure period.

The closure will affect both the slow lane and the middle lane on King Fahd Road in the direction of Kuwait City. A side exit leading to the Fourth Ring Road in the same direction will also be closed temporarily.

The traffic measures are scheduled to begin on Saturday, August 29, 2026, and will remain in place for two weeks as part of temporary arrangements aimed at managing traffic movement and maintaining safer road conditions in the affected area.

According to the announced schedule, the closures will continue until Sunday, September 13, 2026. Drivers using King Fahd Road are advised to pay close attention to traffic signs and follow the directions provided by the traffic authorities.

Motorists traveling toward Kuwait City or the Fourth Ring Road are also encouraged to consider alternative routes and allow additional travel time, particularly during busy periods, to avoid possible delays caused by the temporary lane and exit closures.
