Kuwait’s General Staff of the Army announced early Wednesday that the country’s air defense systems are currently responding to hostile missile and drone attacks amid what it described as Iranian aggression.
In an official statement, the General Staff said Kuwaiti air defenses are actively confronting the incoming threats as part of measures aimed at protecting the country’s airspace and responding to the ongoing attacks.
The military clarified that any explosions heard by residents are reportedly linked to air defense systems intercepting the hostile attacks, urging the public to remain calm and follow official safety instructions.
The General Staff also called on everyone to comply with security and safety measures issued by the competent authorities and to rely on official statements for accurate and verified information.
