Kuwait’s Ministry of Public Works, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, has announced the closure of Street 110 in Block 5 and Street 130 in Block 2 in Qurtuba due to scheduled asphalt works.
The closures will begin on Saturday, September 5, 2026, and remain in place until Tuesday, September 15, 2026, while the planned roadworks are carried out in the area.
The project forms part of Kuwait’s ongoing efforts to maintain and upgrade its road network, improve road conditions, and enhance safety and traffic efficiency for motorists.
Residents, visitors, and motorists using Qurtuba are advised to take the temporary closures into consideration when planning their journeys and to follow traffic instructions issued around the work zones.
Drivers are encouraged to plan their routes in advance and use suitable alternative roads where necessary to avoid possible delays during the implementation of the asphalt works.
The closures are scheduled to continue through September 15, 2026, with the relevant authorities coordinating traffic management throughout the work period.
