The Red Sea International Airport in Saudi Arabia begins handling both domestic and international flights as it positions itself as a major hub for luxury tourism.

The Red Sea International Airport (RSI), strategically positioned as the entryway to Saudi Arabia's luxurious tourism hotspots, The Red Sea and AMAALA, is now facilitating both domestic and international flights. This significant development was announced by Red Sea Global.

Managed by daa International, the airport’s Main Terminal Building at Terminals 3 and 4 now accommodates domestic travel, ensuring passengers enjoy a streamlined and enhanced journey experience.

For international arrivals, the dedicated Air Taxi Terminal continues to operate seaplane services, offering efficient connections for visitors worldwide.

Nestled 90 km south of Al Wajh in western Saudi Arabia, RSI is within three hours' flight time for 250 million people and eight hours for 85 percent of the global populace.

The architecture of the airport takes inspiration from its desert, oasis, and sea surroundings, offering travelers a serene environment reflecting its natural locale.

The advanced main terminal is slated to be fully operational by late 2025. RSI aims to welcome one million guests yearly by 2030.
