Presight has launched its first-ever AI Startup Accelerator Bootcamp in Abu Dhabi. Bringing together 10 global startups over three days aims to scale impactful artificial intelligence solutions ahead of a full accelerator running until December 2025.

Presight has unveiled its inaugural AI-Startup Accelerator Bootcamp in Abu Dhabi, gathering 10 promising startups from across the globe for a three-day intensive program aimed at advancing real-world AI solutions.

This Bootcamp signifies the official commencement of the comprehensive Presight AI-Startup Accelerator, slated to run through December 2025. Over this period, the selected startups will benefit from technical enablement, mentorship, and commercial prospects with Presight's clients, alongside infrastructure support. Their progress will be highlighted at GITEX Expand North Star 2025.

This immersive event brings together entrepreneurs, global tech leaders, and UAE institutional partners to foster co-creation and strategic partnerships. It offers government and private sector collaborators an opportunity to assess startup potential in addressing industry challenges.

The opening session featured a keynote by Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of Presight, who advocated for adopting a "startup mindset" within institutions and elaborated on the initiative’s aim to develop impactful AI solutions tackling global challenges.

A subsequent address was given by Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of the UAE Cyber Security Council, accompanied by remarks from Peng Xiao, CEO of G42. Together they guided UAE dignitaries as they interacted with participating startups.

Pramotedham stated: "The Presight AI-Startup Accelerator is poised to drive transformative growth by empowering visionary founders and bolstering our innovation pipeline." He emphasized that this initiative seeks to identify groundbreaking AI innovations for integration into their ecosystem to deliver substantial impact across sectors.

The cohort presented their innovative solutions across three thematic areas:

  • Urban Visionaries: Addressing large-scale urban issues like climate change and infrastructure challenges
  • AI Tool and Tech Makers: Crafting foundational technologies for secure and scalable AI systems
  • Market Shapers: Leveraging AI in fields such as fintech, energy, education, and investment

The agenda also featured demonstration sessions, explorations of Abu Dhabi's vibrant AI landscape through site visits, as well as workshops conducted with industry partners like Microsoft and NVIDIA among others.
